My 8th litter is 3 girls and one VERY noisy boy. I've had them about 2 hours now. We know almost nothing about them- they were surrendered to the shelter with no back story. The boy has the sniffles and one girl has a goopy eye, so they're on antibiotics.
They haven't quite learned to eat. They don't want the bottle and barely ate wet food.
This little white girl is the only one who ate more than five bites. Time to try again!

No joke, these kittens are precious! We originally planned on naming them after toilet paper- Charmin, Cottonelle, White Cloud, Angel Soft... but that's just become too common. My husband is an astrophysicist, so we decided to name them after famous telescopes! Chandra, Hubble, Kepler, Spitzer!
It's tricky to get a picture of the kitten pile, because shortly after you make a noise or enter the room, they start wiggling, crawling, and screaming!
My kitten pouch sweatshirt was made for moments like these. After 10 minutes of wiggling and crying, they settled down, curled up, and purred.
Very rare few seconds of all 4 actually eating on their own. Chandra (white & gray) rarely takes in food that isn't hand delivered to her mouth.

It's amazing how much can change in just 4 days! They're all eating well, even Chandra! They're getting into the litter box to go potty and they can almost stay upright while they're in there! They can move up and down their entire double kennel.
We went back to visit my parents, while I helped them do their taxes. They loved visiting with grandma and grandpa!

They ate two meals while we were at their grandparents. When we cleaned up, the hubby didn't think to offer them a chance to go to the potty before we left. We had a poopacalypse in the car on the way home. Wet, liquid poop in a small travel crate with 4 wiggling kittens. But we survived! Got them all bathed and cleaned up for the evening.
In the past 24 hours they've discovered, learned, then mastered the art of cuddling. They would be happy to be on the people 24/7.
