I love all kittens, but there's usually one in ever group that just steals my heart. In this group, it would be M'Baku. I ALWAYS know where M'Baku is, because if he is not with me, he's yelling for me! His only goal in life is to be with others- hoomans are at the top of his list, but he also likes his fellow floofs and doesn't mind the doggos either.
M'Baku spends a lot of time upside down, inviting belly kisses. And toe bean kisses. And nose kisses. And just any kisses. Please kiss him!
M'Baku nurses constantly. Maybe some people would discourage it, but I find it charming. He'll nurse on fuzzy blankets, his siblings (he finds T'Challa particularly tasty). But if you separate him from fuzzy things, he'll also nurse on you. He's nursed on my toes, my nose, my lips... but his favorite is to nurse on my eyes. Sometimes, he uses his sharp kitten teeth, but he's learning to be gentle.

2 weeks after his sister Okoye got ringworm, M'Baku developed a spot too. It's been a busy month of constantly bathing cats, trying to keep all the pets safely in their designated zone, and cleaning everything to try to prevent the ringworm from spreading... I have barely been able to spend any time with these kittens lately.
M'Baku might be the lucky one... he has never had to be isolated by himself. He was with T'Challa (now Henry" and Shuri (adopted yesterday!) until he got infected, and then he was moved to be with Okoye.
M'Baku loves company and he loves feet. He tries to be gentle, but he gnaws on them a bit if he gets ahold of them. If you try to walk away from him, he'll grab your ankles and hold on, crying "please please don't go!"
In a group of social kittens, M'Baku is the most social of them all. When he's sleeping on you, if you move, he voices his displeasure loudly!! When he's done playing, he wants to find a leg, lap shoulder, neck... something to cuddle into.
I really hope these two can get adopted together. They both NEED a friend in their lives.

M'Baku is a tricky fellow. He was clear of symptoms at the same time as his sister, then tiny tiny spot showed up. It disappeared quickly, so I'm pretty sure that it was not really ringworm- but possibly just some food residue or something like that... but to be safe, we restarted his countdown clock. He's now a week behind his sister in readiness, though I still hope they might be able to get adopted together. Both of them seem to love EVERYONE, and I think both would do ok in a house with another cat/kitten and really loving humans- but they're both so needy, their cuddle and wrestling needs are so well matched for each other. They could easily drive more casual pets and people insane with their aggressive affection!!
M'Baku is slightly more appropriate in his cuddling than his sister. He lays next to you or in a lap instead of directly on your face. But, he's a nommer. His favorite things are toes, but he'll happily gnaw on your fingers if you let him. I try to discourage this, as I know it's not a behavior most families will tolerate, but he's learned to be pretty gentle with it and he's just being playful. He's not malicious at all, just friendly playfulness. I've been "feeding the bite"- or pushing my hands or feet into his mouth when he bites, and he's learning- he'll definitely need a play partner who doesn't mind it (like his sister!!)
