This little floof ball is a confident girl! She walks up to humans, dogs, cats.. and tried to stare down the vacuum. She purrs vigorously and loves cuddles. But if you don't give her the attention she most definitely deserves, she knows she can find someone who can't resist her and she'll go hunt them down by climbing up and out and escaping.
She was still getting a bottle once a day when I picked her up, but has adjusted well to kibble this past week.
8/15/19 Update
Liberty is extremely adept at climbing up and over the play pen to find freedom. In fact, she just seems to love climbing and is often perched on my back or shoulder. Her curiosity is only exceeded by her sweetness.
8/25/19 Update
Liberty is one of the most beautiful kittens. She continues to prove that she is well named- always climbing up and out of any holding area. But when she's done exploring, she is a purring cuddlebug.
Update 9/9/19
Now that she has the run of the whole house, Liberty spends less time trying to get out of her confined area and more time trying to get into whatever you're doing. She will come find me and purr whenever I am able to pick her up. She loves toys of all kinds.
9/17/19 Update
Liberty's brother, Independence, got fixed a week earlier than her and was taken to Petsmart for the adoption event. He was adopted during his first weekend!! Liberty seems ok without him, but definitely likes to find others to cuddle with. I hope she will find a home with other pets!
She also continues to love her kitten hammock- she uses it more than any other kitten!

9/22/19 UPDATE
We stopped by my parent's house to pick up my dad for a movie on the way to Petsmart. My mom held each kitten briefly, and Liberty's purr was loud enough to hear form across the room. I was pretty sure she'd get picked by the first family that asked to hold her.
After the movies, we were picking up sushi for my parent's lunch a same time the adoptions were starting. While the husband waited for the food to be ready, I dashed across the parking lot to wish my girls good luck. Two young ladies were looking for a kitten. They explained they had come around a few weeks but the hopeful new mommy hadn't found one that she felt drawn too. I was glad she was not impulsive and grabbed the first kitten she saw, and even more glad she seemed to be looking at my baby girls!
She had her eye on Sparkler, but I had to admit she was the most active of the group when she asked if she was laid back. I got to talk with them a bit, sharing a little about each kitten between talking to the kittens until I got the text the food was ready. Luckily, at that same time, the adoption team finished setting up and were ready to take their first potential adopters into the room to meet a kitten. I peered in and saw Liberty wrapped in a loving hug and felt in my heart that Liberty had found a home. The look of adoration seemed to be mutual. I was happy to see the adoption picture later that day!
Dear new mommy- I'd love to get some updates!! Kitteeohana@gmail.com
