Cotton Candy gives 100% to everything he does. He was the first kitten to discover toys. His energy outlasts all the others and he does not hesitate to wake up a brother when his play partners pass out. He eats with a dangerous gusto and has accidentally chomped into a paw if someone is standing too close to him in the food bowl. But once food and play time are over, he passes out, often belly up. In this state, nothing bothers him! He does not wake to dogs barking, other cats walking over him, hoomans moving him or picking him up.

On his first weigh-in on 6/7/19, Cotton was already the heaviest at 1# 3 3/8oz. Scotchmallow trailed behind him at 1# 1 5/8oz. By 6/16/19, he had almost gained his tiny sister's full weight and tipped the scales at 1# 12 3/4 oz. But his heart is as bigger than his belly.
6/16/19 Cotton Candy seems to love the kitten sling when he's sleepy. His dreamy twitchy paws are so cute while he accompanies me around the house while I do chores and attempt to blog!

Cotton Candy's favorite napping position is belly up, and he isn't bothered if you stick your face into that fuzzy belly to administer copious amounts of belly kisses on him. He broke the 2# mark today (Sunday 6/23/19), though his little sister barely weighs what he did 2 weeks ago.
Update: 6/30/19 Cotton Candy can switch from hyperactive to comatose in seconds. He seeks out his siblings, especially tiny Butterscotch, or the household cats for love and attention often and is the most frequent foundation of any kitten pile.
He's particularly fond of crinkle balls or these soft sparkle balls and will carry them around in his mouth. It's absolutely adorable, but nearly impossible to capture with a camera, because he's in constant motion. I deleted the most blurry ones, but none of these pictures do him justice.
Update 7/13/19: Cotton Candy is a noisy guy. He loves to cry when he wants attention, even if he is currently getting your full attention. He has become pretty possessive of his erinkle ball and loves to run around carrying it in his mouth. He will chase others if they have the audacity to try to take his ball.

Update 7/20/19
Cotton Candy is running around with his crinkle ball right now, in his last few minutes in his foster home. Hopefully his new foster family, that I hope he finds quickly, will get him a new one and send pictures (email pictures/stories to kitteeohana@gmail.com) . Even more hopeful that, after taking him home this weekend- they will return to IBR next weekend to adopt his sister, Butterscotch.
Update 8/4/19
After 2 weeks of waiting, Cotton Candy got adopted today with his favorite sibling, Butterscotch!! She got separated from the boys when she arrived at PetSmart for adoption events and was really anxious. At the end of her lonely week, I got permission to try to reunite her and was able to put her with Cotton Candy Friday night, before this weekends adoption events. The change he brought to her was immediate. She calmed down and snuggled into him. I was drafting an update to their bios, as I began to realize they were more of a bonded pair than just close siblings. The love they felt for each other must have shown, for a family adopted them together today. SO HAPPY!!
